As of June 2025 we are excited to have Dr. Lydie Wu as a new medical practitioner in our practice. 

Dr. Hu, a native of Northern China, holds a Doctorate Degree in Chinese Medicine from the University of East-West Medicine. She specializes in a unique combination of acupuncture with other healing modalities, including acupressure and/or Tui Na (Chinese medical massage). She effectively treats a diverse range of conditions, including insomnia, depression, digestive issues, hormone imbalances, acute and chronic pain. Her approach, deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, targets the body’s energy blockages caused by toxins, stress, trauma, and dietary choices.

Our Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic was established as a healing space to offer herbal consultations and acupuncture in San Rafael of Marin County, CA in 1986 by Deirdra Claiborne and Dr. Samuel Wang. We work with acupuncture, herbal formulas and other comprehensive healing techniques to help our patients resolve complex health issues. We specialize in advanced orthopedic pain resolution. Our clinic values compassion, preventative medicine, and optimal well-being.
