Deirdra Claiborne, L.Ac., assesses and guides her patients through individually customized detoxification protocols, drawing upon her 40 years of practice in Chinese Medicine, herbalism and nutrition. Each program incorporates Standard Process detox supplements and other herbal supplements, meal plans based on Traditional Chinese Medicine dietary principles, lifestyle changes, acupuncture treatments and herbal medicine.

SP Detox Balance Program
A metabolic detoxification system that delivers nutrition derived from whole foods, to facilitate the safe and healthy removal of toxins in an easy and effective manner. The main indicators of toxicity are: fatigue or difficulty sleeping, indigestion and other gastrointestinal upsets, food cravings and weight gain, reduced mental clarity, low libido, skin issues and joint discomfort.
Our program offers two options: a 28-day or 10-day plan. Patients will undergo an initial consultation with Deirdra, and based on her assessment, she will formulate your detox protocol.
Phases of Detoxification
Metabolic detox is your body’s natural process of removing and eliminating toxins from your cells. This three-phase process unlocks fat-soluble toxins and converts them to a water-soluble state that is easy for your body to remove.
Phase I: Unlock & deliver key nutrients
The body transforms fat-soluble toxins to an “unlocked” state that is more water-soluble, and in many cases, more toxic than its original form. Our detox formula delivers key nutrients.
Phase II: Neutralize & deliver key nutrients
The highly toxic substances produced in Phase I convert to non-toxic molecules and become even more water-soluble. Our detox formula delivers key nutrients.
Phase III: Eliminate with the aid of plant-based fibers
Water-soluble toxins leave cells, and the body eliminates them. Our detox formula contains plant-based fibers that support this elimination.
Glucose Assist Program
Our Glucose Assist Program incorporates dietary and lifestyle support including a nutritional shake that is specifically formulated to ensure a gradual and steady release of glucose through slow digesting complex carbohydrates. The protein-rich, plant-based nutrition sourced from peas, oats, pumpkin seed, and buckwheat minimizes blood glucose spikes and contributes to steady blood glucose management. This formula supports a reduction in post-prandial glycemic response.
Deirdra may also incorporate other modalities in the form of dietary and exercise changes, acupuncture or herbal medicine. This program is recommended for athletes and pre-diabetic patients.
Purification Program
This 21-day Standard Process Purification Program isn’t just a cleanse diet; it is a structured program that supports you to create healthy lifestyle habits. Our guidance helps you purify, nourish, and assist in maintaining a healthy body weight through consuming whole foods,, nutritious shakes, and supplements made with whole food and other ingredients. The menu comprises a diverse array of fresh vegetables and fruits for the initial 10 days, with select proteins introduced on day 11. Supplements support the body’s natural detoxification process, facilitating toxin release. We include exercise regimes that are realistic and appropriate to your age and body.
After an in-depth consultation with Deirdra, patients will receive a custom tailored protocol, which may include acupuncture and herbal medicine in addition to our supplement and dietary protocol.
